Jordan and Loretta didn't want a big day; they wanted one just for them. No guests, no speeches, just the two of them, the celebrant, her husband stepping in as the second witness, and their doggie by their side. We had Forestry Beach entirely to ourselves for the ceremony, rare for a spot that's usually busy with dogs, walkers and surfers. From there we moved into the forest for portraits, where the light dropped low and gold between the trees, and closed out the afternoon with a soft sunset right before they climbed into the car and drove off to dinner. No lingering, just two people ready to eat and simply hang out together.Sweet and simple.
