IG and Flavio, she's an air steward, he's a pilot, both based in Hawaii, and they flew all the way over to have their wedding at Mudbrick on Waiheke Island. Smack in the middle of winter too, so we ended up out in the rain for a bit during portraits, but the sun actually broke through right on time for sunset, giving us the most gorgeous light. Flavio got ready with his sons that morning, and honestly, watching a dad get ready for his wedding day with his boys right there beside him hits different, it was such a sweet way to start things off. Then later, once the dancing kicked off, a full conga line broke out, and I caught IG mid-line, Hawaiian flowers still in her hair, throwing me a hang ten as she went past. Genuinely one of the most action packed weddings Iv ever shot.
