Evie and Chris got married at the stunning Mudbrick on Waiheke Island on a rainy December day. Evie got completely drenched walking to the glasshouse, rain streaming down her face, and she just laughed it off, totally unbothered, not a flicker of stress. That calm carried straight into the portraits once we were inside, veil catching the light, looking incredible despite being soaked through.

The reception entrance was one of the best I've captured, the whole room waving napkins in the air as the bridal party walked in. It was so much fun. Instead of a traditional cake, they went with a towering wheel of cheese, and it was hands down one of the best spreads I've seen at a wedding. During the speeches, Evie and Chris were handed a pair of Trump caps as a joke, and the whole room lost it laughing
