Crossing on the ferry to Waiheke Ross and I watched the dark stormy skies enveloping Auckland city. We headed to the venue of sunshine that is Mudbrick leaving the gloominess behind us. Asher and Luke’s wedding was a day filled with so much laughter. In fact I dont think ive ever captured so much laughter , every single person I meet that day couldn’t wipe the smile off their faces. For me this was a symbol of how loved this couple are. We trekked up the hill for bridal portraits under a soft beautiful sun where Ash completely stole the show. Then as the sun went down we were shown just what a mudbrick sunset is made of. Organising nearly 80 people to create a fire tunnel with sparklers was pretty epic and knowing that we nailed it ended off one incredibly beautiful Mudbrick day.
